Parenting Classes

Parenting classes consist of a six session model.  The class addresses both adolescent and teenage issues.  The cost is $20.00 with an opportunity for a full refund if each class is attended.

****Basic Parenting Classes Beginning*****

Basic Parenting Classes are currently being scheduled.  Each session will start at 6PM and end by 9PM. Participants must attend all four sessions to receive a certificate of completion.

BPC is targeted toward parents with children in foster care or at risk of placement, but anyone who may benefit from basic child development, child safety, nurturing discipline, and family living strategies is more than welcome.

Pre-registration is required and, for those who are NOT referred by child welfare agencies, a fee of $20 is requested.  The fee is returned if the participant finishes all four sessions and completes assigned work.

Positive Parenting Tips

Parenting Course Feedback from Participants.

What was the best part of the course?

The understanding of our point of views.

Open discussion and the resources made available.

Learning solutions to use in my own personal life to deal with the issues I have with my child's behavior.

How could this course be improved?

More students to partake in group activities.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and feel I learned a lot. I would not change it at all as I feel it was informative and very well put together.
